NOTE FROM THE EDITOR
A few developments to share this month:
- NASSMC – the National Alliance of State Science and Mathematics Coalitions – has announced the launch of the STEM Accelerator Initiative, which will help programs proven to make an impact on the STEM pipeline to reach sustainability or to scale for greater impact. DeHavilland Associates is working with NASSMC to launch the Initiative – if you’re interested in joining the project as a supporter, please download an introductory brochure here and contact me for more information.
- DeHavilland Associates is conducting a survey of business coalition leaders on their thoughts on working with education; the information we collect through this survey will allow us to educate school and district personnel on how coalitions operate, their experiences with school partnerships, and what you’re looking for in a partner. If you are a coalition leader, you can participate in the survey at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=285243794723. Note that the survey closes May 18.
- Revisions to the Business/Education Partnership Forum are ongoing; check back by June 1 to see the new version of the site.
Best regards,
- Brett
