NOTE FROM THE EDITOR
Is there a need for a conference on building effective partnerships?
There are people building strong partnerships in schools and districts across the country, but I have yet to see a conference that brings all of them – educators, businesspeople, and foundation and coalition leaders – together to share what they have learned with their fellow practitioners. I believe that networking with others in the field is the best way to pick up the kind of insider information you can apply immediately to your efforts, but I have not found a conference dedicated to this kind of operations-level information that speaks to all parties at the table.
DeHavilland Associates is seriously considering launching such a conference, and I’d really like the input of people on this list. I’ll be sending out a survey invitation next week, but if you have any thoughts you’d like to share now, I’d truly appreciate hearing from you directly via email ( brett@dehavillandassociates.com) or phone (704-944-3134).
Best regards,
- Brett
